discount on selected shows at the Opera House when staying at the Grosvenor
House. There are also discounted prices for entry to Chatsworth. Credit

When making a reservation
please remember that a verbal or written
reservation constitutes a legal contract
Cancellation...
in the unfortunate event of less than 48 hours
cancellation of your booking we will make every effort to re-let the
accommodation. However, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the
booking if the room is not subsequently re-let. We strongly advise you,
therefore, to insure against cancellation.
Reservations .
a deposit or a credit card number is usually required
for all bookings. Deposits will be deducted from your final account.
Absences...
we are unable to make any allowances if you
unfortunately find yourself temporarily absent during your stay, miss meals or
have to depart earlier than confirmed.
Settling your account .
is by credit or debit card, cash or cheque ( supported
by a bankers card) and made payable to The Grosvenor House. We accept most
cards with the exception of American Express.
Walkers .
can use our drying facilities if necessary, but please
take care when entering the guest house if your boots are wet and muddy!
Damage...
if you damage anything belonging to the hotel, we will
send you the bill for cleaning, repair or loss!
Smoking
is outlawed throughout the guest house. Please don't
or else we will charge you for professional cleaning
Arrival and Departures...
can you please vacate your room by 10.30 on the day of
your departure. Let us know if you are arriving before 3.00 otherwise it is
preferable to arrive between 5.00 and 7.00. If you are arriving after that,
please let us know or we may re-let the room!
Loss or damage ...
we cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage
to guests' property whilst in the guest house, unless it has been handed in for
safe keeping.
